The Superocean Heritage is one of Breitling’s most recognizable designs—a modern interpretation of the brand’s original dive watches introduced in the 1950s. This 44mm example combines vintage-inspired styling with the proportions, materials and movement of a modern luxury sports watch.

The black dial is exceptionally clean, with Breitling’s distinctive triangular hour hand, arrow-shaped minute hand and date positioned discreetly at 6 o’clock. Surrounding the dial is a polished black ceramic unidirectional dive bezel, giving the watch an understated black-on-black appearance while the polished stainless-steel case provides just enough contrast.

This example is fitted to Breitling’s black mesh-style rubber strap with stainless-steel push-button folding deployant clasp. It gives the appearance of Breitling's traditional Milanese mesh bracelet while offering the comfort and durability of rubber. Breitling

The B20 Movement

One of the highlights of this generation of Superocean Heritage is what's inside.

The watch is powered by the Breitling Manufacture Caliber B20, a self-winding mechanical movement based on Tudor's MT5612 architecture. It is COSC-certified as a chronometer and provides an impressive approximately 70-hour power reserve—enough to take the watch off Friday evening and find it still running Monday morning. Breitling

Built as a True Dive Watch

Despite its refined appearance, the Superocean Heritage retains genuine dive-watch capability. The 44mm stainless-steel case features a screw-locked crown with dual gaskets, screwed-in caseback and a cambered sapphire crystal treated with anti-reflective coating on both sides.
